There is a new category of hot tub emerging, albeit it small. They are called party spas or party hot tubs (oversized hot tubs). These extra large hot tubs are 8′ x 12′ or 8′ x 13′ in length and taller than a traditional hot tub (36″). The height of a party spa can be between 42-52″
Most of the party spa models can be used as a swim and exercise spa in addition to entertaining. A party spa can seat upwards of 12 people. The versatility of this type of spa is unmatched and the prices of these types of units are very affordable as they on the high end of hot tub pricing and the low end of swim spa pricing. Most party spas range between $12,000-$16,000.

- Dynasty Spas – “Party / Swim 13” – The Party Swim 13′ is a great models seating up to 12 people and featuring two large swim jets. It also offers a nice combination of ergonomic hot tub seating and bench seating for comfort and versatility.
- Tidal Fit Swim Spas – Active Plus EP-12 – The Active Plus is a 8′ x 12′ swim spa that can be ordered with the twin bench option that turns it into a party spa.
- Coast Spas – 1300 Bench – The 1300 Bench model is in the Coast Swim Collection and is available in five different jetting configurations making it a very versatile option one of which is a party spa that can seat up to 12 people. The unit measures approximately 8′ x 12.5′.
- Catalina Spas – Fitness 200 Series “Newporter” and “Malibu” – Both the Newporter and Malibu are 8′ x 12.5′ party spas that you can swim and exercise in. The Newporter is 42″ tall and the Malibu is deeper at 51″ tall. They both seat up to 12 people.
