Washington State based Clearwater Spas has officially dipped their toes in the swim spa business with the release of their new Swim Spa 1200 model. The Swim Spa 1200 is in the twelve foot class of swim spas but actually measures in at 11’6″ long which is a on the smaller side of swim spas. Most manufacturers who enter the swim spa market that weren’t in it before typically start with a 12′ model because they don’t have to invest in new equipment like ovens and vacuum forming machines which can be a substantial capital investment and may be the reason why Clearwater has led their swim spa offering with a 12′ model.
The Swim Spa 1200 comes equipped with 29 hydrotherapy jets where the hot tub seats are and two large “river swim jets” on the swim side of the unit. The unit comes with three pumps. One pump for each swim jet and one pump for the 29 therapy jets. Color touchscreen controls, LED lighting, DuraTech synthetic cabinet with light bar, and 6 rope fountains also come standard with the unit.
Optional features include Bluetooth stereo, TPS Water Sanitation Systems, swim steps, anti slip floor pad and accent pads, and cover lifters.
