Sundance Spas has officially made its debut of their new Sundance® Splash™ Series.
Sundance has long been one of the most luxurious of luxury hot tub manufacturers with few options in the lower budget hot tub segment. Their 680™ Series started around $6500 which still missed the $4000-6000 market segment so it makes sense that they would fill out their offering with a series that targeted that particular price range. Additionally, Sundance dealers would fill in their showroom floors with other spa brands to meet this demand. In fact, the brand most Sundance dealers would put on their showroom floor to complement the Sundance models was a rotomold hot tub manufacturer named Dream Maker Spas. Dream Maker’s price points range from about $3500-6500 which fit well with all of Sundance Series which is why Jacuzzi Brands (owner of Sundance Spas) finally stepped up and purchased Dream Maker and branded their own line of rotomold now named the Splash Series.
At this time, there are only two Splash Series models available boasting very boring names. The smaller “Rectangle Open Seat Model” is 78″ x 68″ x 32″ and can run on 110v or 220 electrical. The Splash Rectangle has seating for 4-5 bathers and comes with a single motor and around 20 hydrotherapy jets. The durability of the hot tub is worth noting as the entire hot tub is made from SYNCRYLIC® MATERIAL which is a high impact polyethylene polymer typically used in rotationally molded hot tub manufacturing.
The larger Splash model called the “ Square Lounge Seat” is a 5-6 bathers hot tub (single lounger) that measure 78″ x 78″ x 36″. It also run 110v or 220v electrical service. The Square has a single motor and about 30 jets.
Aside from the economical and friendly price tag of these two model, the plug and play 110v capability is nice and convenient because it typically doesn’t require an Electrician.
As part of our commitment to hot tub buyers and transparency in the spa industry we’ve created this page to inform consumers of new offerings and also to write reviews and feedback regarding their experiences with these new models/brands.
