Over 20,000 Jacuzzi and Sundance Hot Tubs Recalled

According to sources over 23,000 Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and Sundance Spas are being recalled due to potentially faulty temperature sensors that may or may not be accurately reading the real temperature of the water. So far there has been 185 cases reported.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has stated that the recall involves the following models sold by Jacuzzi and Sundance hot tub retailers and dealers from July 2021 thru December 2022.

Jacuzzi:

  1. J-200 Collection
  2. J-300 Collection
  3. J-400 Collection
  4. J-500 Collection

Sundance:

  1. Sundance Spas 680
  2. Sundance Spas 780
  3. Sundance Spas 880
  4. Sundance Spas 980

Sundance Spas and Jacuzzi Hot Tubs, both part of parent company Jacuzzi Brands, is working with dealers and hot tub owners to get the hot tubs repaired. If you own one of these models it would be best to refrain from using your hot tub until it is repaired or determined that it is not part of the recall. Hot tub temperatures above 104 degrees are dangerous, and it is recommended to not use a hot tub above that maximum temperature.
