LPI Inc, a large hot tub manufacturer based in Johnson City, TN has reported at least one case of COVID 19 in it’s manufacturing facility. Two of LPI’s employees were linked to a relative that worked at Scott Strawberry & Tomato Farm (Unicoi County) who tested positive among nearly 40 cases of COVID 19. Both LPI employees were tested and only one of them tested positive. LPI is taking all of the necessary safety precautions and testing for it’s employees short of a complete shutdown to get the situation under control.
LPI, Inc employees nearly 270 people at it’s manufacturing facility and builds hot tubs and swim spas under the brands of Dr. Wellness, Tranquility Spas, Lifestyle Spas, Water’s Edge Spas, Signature Spas, Catalina Spas, Atera Spas, Plug and Power Spas, and Hudson Bay Spas . Many of these brands are sold through their direct-to-consumer retail outlets called Aqua Living Stores.
