Price, portability, and convenience are all of the things you get with a blow up hot tub. Blow up spas, more commonly referred to as inflatable hot tubs, are the fastest growing sector of the hot tub industry. Blow up hot tubs can be found in abundance on the internet ranging in price between $300-$1000. At these prices, inflatable hot tubs are within reach of almost every demographic with a little bit of discretionary income. To add, these units only weight 50-100 pounds making them extremely portable. They can be full broken down (drained and deflated) and ready to move in about an hour and set up in roughly the same amount of time. You do, however, have to allow for up to 24 hours for the unit to get up to hot tubbing temperature of 100-104 degrees. Because of their simple design and ease of transport we’ve seen inflatable hot tubs in places like campsites, festivals, tailgate functions, and even traveling outdoor cinema events. Aside from portability, the overall convenience is unmatched because the only two things you need to setup a blow up hot tub is water and a 110v electrical outlet.
Although the inflatables aren’t an apples to apples comparison against a more therapeutic, traditional hot tub they have proven that the market demand is there and the growth trend is strong, at least, for the foreseeable future.
