Iconic Nortwest swim spa and hot tub retailer, Black Pine Hot Tubs and Swim Spas, is moving to the southend after nearly 40 years in the Lynnwood/Edmonds area. The retailer has been in business since 1981 and after four decades has moved its retail operation to a larger facility in Tacoma, WA. The new store and showroom is located at,

just off of i5 and Highway 16 in Tacoma. Not a huge surprise as Black Pine has always been an event and show centric organization generating a majority of it’s business offsite. Nearly half of the annual sale volume has come from the southend for decades especially because of large scale events like the Puyallup Fair which the company has sponsored and attended for over 30 years. The large sales and service area make relocating much easier for Black Pine than most traditional retailers.
It is great to see local business making moves and growing especially in times like this when many businesses are struggling due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We wish Black Pine Spas the best of luck as it transitions and continues operations serving the Puget Sound.
