Scottsdale, Arizona based Bigfish Publications, a pool and hot tub industry trade magazine publisher, has sold SpaRetailer, PoolPro, SpaSearch, and PoolSearch to Kendrick Content & Consulting, LLC. It appears that the asset sale was part of a succession plan by founder and operator David Wood since Megan Kendrick of Kendrick Content had worked with Bigfish Publications since 2008 and most recently held the title of managing editor before the buyout. Megan has seen firsthand the growth of all four trade brands and played an instrumental role in their development and success. She’s done countless interviews with industry professionals and provided quality articles and content for nearly 10 years. It is no wonder she wanted to carry on the business as David was looking for an exit plan. We are confident that Megan will carry on the tradition of quality content that Bigfish has been known for.
