On August 11th, 2018 it was reported by Mexican officials that a “voracious fire” was ensuing at the Jacuzzi Hot Tubs manufacturing facility in east Tijuana. At this time the specifics remain unclear as the company doesn’t appear to have released a statement but Mexican reporting agencies are saying that the fire was started in the chemicals area of the factory. The extent of the damage is unknown and any interruption or delays in production is unclear at this time.
