Custom Molded Products , of Newman, GA, has issued a recall on valve caps sold to hot tub manufacturers who installed them on the top rail of hot tubs and swim spas. Custom Molded Products is a plastics company selling and distributing parts to hot tub manufacturers.
The recall was issued because the valve caps can become loose or break and blow off posing a striking hazard for bystanders and bathers.
At this time it appears that only valve caps on Master Spas brand of hot tubs and swim spas have been affected. If you believe you may be affected by this recall then it is recommended you stop using the hot tub or swim spa and contact Custom Molded Products for a free replacement valve cap.
