Cheap doesn’t need to be low quality when it comes to buying a hot tub. There are several categories of “cheap hot tubs” that give you great therapeutic benefits without breaking the bank. In this article we will look at two types of hot tubs in the industry that can be had at affordable prices.
The first type of cheap hot tub is an inflatable hot tub. Inflatable hot tubs or blow-up hot tubs as they are sometimes referred to are probably the most economical type of hot tub on the market. Inflatable spas range in price between $300 and $1500. The upper end of the price range typically represents an inflatable that has actual hydrotherapy water jets and not just air jets. Having hydrotherapy water jets is very important because they provide a real massage versus air jets that just blow bubbles and provide zero therapeutic value.
The second type of cheap hot tub is a roto-mold hot tub or rotationally molded hot tub. These hot tubs range in price between $2000-$4000. Rotomolds are great because they are rigid in structure and provide comfortable, ergonomic seating and a good amount of hydrotherapy water jets (10-30 jets).
There are two additional benefits to buying one of the aforementioned hot tubs. The first is the portability. The tubs above weigh between 50-300 lbs making them extremely easy to move. The second benefit is that they are typically 110v electrical connections making them plug and play in an ordinary 110v outlet.
