Northern Lights Hot Tubs & Spas, a 20-year-old Belgian company, produces hot tubs and barrel saunas using the ‘Art of Barrelmaking’ – ancient skills developed by coopers to create perfect vessels from wood and iron. Today, their production methods are completely modernized, using CAD design and laser-guided milling to ensure perfect wooden joints. However, they do incorporate the techniques honed over centuries, combining carefully selected Western Red Cedar and fine steel with top-quality precision technology, and using canoe joints to bind the staves for a perfect watertight fit. This combination of traditional and modern production methods allow them to guarantee unsurpassed watertight joints. Standard features include a high-quality heating system, quiet, energy-efficient pumps and water sanitization system.
Northern Lights offer a selection of reliable heating modules: electrical, wood or gas-fired, as well as solar energy and other renewable sources of heat. The innovative and environmentally friendly water sanitization methods ensure top quality water. Their pumps are ceramic coated and run so quietly, owners will only hear the rushing water.
The Original model hot tub arrives as a self-assembly kit, requiring no special skills or tools for quick assemble.
