Brand Overview

Nordic Hot Tubs has led the industry in affordable, high-quality, therapeutic hot tubs since 1995. A Nordic Hot Tub is the perfect balance of hydrotherapy at a cost-effective price. Stylish Nordic hot tubs are hand-crafted from the finest materials and easy to install. The exclusive DTS™, Dual Therapy System, combines high-flow water with a circular motion that massages parts of the body that many competitors’ spas do not reach. The combination of high-flow water and individual jet therapy DTS™ provides an ideal balance of active and passive muscle and joint relief. The Robb Report named Nordic Hot Tubs one of the five best spas in the world.

Their heart-shaped 110V-model, D’Amour, offers a cozy sanctuary for couples or individuals wanting to soak away the stresses of the day. Powerful jets target hips, wrists, and elbows for invigorating hydrotherapy. The exclusive dual-therapy water system (DTS™) provides gentle, whole-body therapy to complement the targeted jets. Standard features include an LED footwell light, T-20 insulation, ozone, and a GFCI 15 amp plug. All you need to do is plug it in and enjoy the experience. Nordic’s most popular model is the Retreat MS, with five-person, deep-soak seating and bench with front body massage, 28 jets, including a whirlpool jet, two foot/leg jets, four air controls and footwell LED lighting.

Update:  Nordic Hot Tubs was acquired by Monomoy Capital Partners in late 2022. Monomoy also owns Marquis Hot Tubs and Artesian Spas.

Great spa for the price... there are fancier spas out there, but I got quality that has lasted me years with little to no issues for a price that I found to be lower than most competitors

Plus and minus

Plus: Competitive price, appears well built. Terrific dealer.
Minus: Manual needs more information. Jet flow allocation controls no obvious. I had to request additional information from Nordic. Manual should also include targets for chemicals as spa is neither acrylic or cement. The Aquanova AOP unit failed 1st year. They provided a replacement. That failed in 10 months. No support for that one whatsoever. My dealer reported that Nordic suggested that the unit could be unplumbed from the spa if we were not happy with it's reliability or performance. To me, a chemical engineer, the performance of this sanitizing unit was always unclear.
