CROOKS! We purchased a hot tub from them at the RACEWAY on June 7th, 2025. It was to be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks as we had to have the concrete slab installed first. We paid $5000 down payment.
I called the first week of August on several occasions as well as emailed twice through their website. When I got no response, I went out to the showroom and it was closed and deserted and looked like it had been that way for a while. I contacted the bank since we used our credit card and are still working with them to get our funds back.
We were contacted by our sales rep Jurgita Vaisvilaite who is now with another company trying to sell us another hot tub but she couldn't call us to let us know Barefoot was going out of business. Another SNAKE in the grass. We have contacted the BBB, I've emailed, called and called and no response. CROOKS and CROOKED business practices. I will be opening a civil case against the company and the owner - Richard French. I don't want this to happen to someone else.
WE are on HOLD indefinitely re: purchase of the hot tub because of BAREFOOT - at this point I don't feel safe shelling out that kind of money to people that are obviously shifty and will do anything to make a buck! read less
